With dating now, there are no rules. Like, who pays the check? Not that long ago, a guy spent the night with me. We went to breakfast the next day. The check came, and when the waitress came to take it away, we had to address it. He said he didn’t want to offend me by paying the check on “my side of town” - he didn’t want to assert his power over mine on my turf. So he’s thinking I’d be offended, and I’m thinking, ‘If you’ve already Lewis-and-Clarked my body, maybe buy my oatmeal.’

John Krasinski wrote what’s inside the card at some point prior to us shooting the scene for A.A.R.M. and it is a private message to his co-star and dear friend, Jenna Fischer. They are the only ones who knows what it says. She read it for the first time when he gave it to her in the first take we shot and I can tell you that judging from her emotional response, it’s really something special.
